We stayed near Hayle and there was a Smashing Pub for a Meal Called The Bucket of Blood ,Worth it just to hear about the Legend behind the name ,If you are young you will like Newquay All the beautiful young people go there with there Surfboards ,Looe is another lively little town ,With some good pubs ,and you can watch the Fisherman bringing in small Sharks and having them weighed ,Just hope for some good weather ,and its as good as anywhere on the Continent , |

The Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, the Isles of Scilly, Tintagel, Boscastle, Mevagissey, Pentewan, Minack Theatre, St Michael's Mount, Goonhilly, Tolgus Tin Mine and Gold Centre, any beaches, all to be recommended.
Avoid Land's End (spoilt and commercialised) and Newquay (most locals stay clear, unless they are young surfers). |

Well, for the views etc, check out Port Issac, Padstow, The Lizard,
Lands End has plenty to see and do,
St Ives, Fowey and Polperro are all quaint, and worth going to see, and theres The Eden project too.
Cornwall has a rugged beauty, alongside pretty, quaint villages, and some wonderful beaches too, it has so much to offer, with something for everyone. |

Anyone who can possibly think Cornwall is boring, is either a low life oyk, or simply jealous!!!! (atominfiltrators ) But then I suppose if living in the pub is the only social life you know, I guess anything else would be considered boring.
I have lived in Cornwall for 16 years, and we make a point of visiting a new place every Sunday, (weather permitting ) and we still havn't seen it all. The only place in Cornwall I can honestly say is a real dump, is Newquay, which apart from the beach, is quite an ugly run down dump. There are a few places not near the sea, which are also a bit rough, Cambourne, Redruth, Bodmin Town, St Blazey, but they are all places you only travel through, to get somewhere else. In my opinion, the best part of Cornwall is the S.E. Looe, Polperro, Fowey, Lerryn, (where I live.)Which is slightly quieter, and more scenic than further down on the West coast, which gets too populated during the summer months.
As for things to do, most places you stay in Cornwall have brochures on local attractions, which are too plentiful to mention. Just come down and see for yourself, you're more than welcome!!!! |

There isn't a lot to see in Cornwall except the Eden project http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eden_project
Don't go to Cornwall its very boring. The reason why a lot of people who live there surf is because there is nothing else to do. |
