Question for people living in the UK?

If you could choose ANYWHERE to live, where would you live?

Spain, Australia, France, Africa, etc etc etc.

Where would you live?

The UK. No contest.
Unlike many moaners on this site, I know the grass is not greener elsewhere.

Doshie
I'm quite happy here in the UK.
But if I had to then it would be Denmark

The UK...but then I'm not a sad little whiner who needs to behave like a sobbing little girl all the time.

AeroQueen
I can't think of one specific country where I'd like to live far and above anywhere else. Just a little bit of a lot of places really. Even England.

Right where I am now!

Nowhere, perhaps the Netherlands or Canada.

I dislike any society which is xenophobic, unwilling to change from tradition and nationalist.

Here. I was born here and I will die here.

France - no larger louts or vomiting in the streets, superb roads , good public services, decent weather and excellent food and wine.

Geneva in Switzaland is the most gorgeous and beneficent city i have been to. Perhaps due to the Convention of human rights but as long as you are a hard worker, skin colour means nothing to them.

I dont know where Jake Answerer number 1 is coming from with his not-so-nice comment there but there you go, theres always one!!

Australia would have to do it for me..I been watching those WANTED DOWN UNDER progs on BBC 5.15pm weekdays!! The houses are great and good value..far more than here in the UK And the beaches are good too; Like where I came from in Devon (which would be my choice if I could to live in the UK) I spoz the UK is better than a lot of areas of the globe, its just that sometimes with the continuing crud from the government, the overall rises in prices, we just cant always see it. Sometimes our minds are led way off course...
