Remind me - what clothes do I need for the UK - am coming over on Sat?

I am English and am living in Sydney and am packing and can't recall how cold it is at this time of year - do I just need wool stuff, polo necks etc or what about some cotton long sleeved t-shirts as well

it is quite mild now...although cloudy & grey....but the next couple of days we are in for a cold snap.

bring jumpers, warm jacket, boots...but bring long sleeved cotton shirts for the evenings if you plan to go somewhere nice. have a good holiday!

☞H.Potter☜
Plenty of long sleeved t-shirts and jumpers. It has been quite mild recently here in the south 13â—¦ celsius. So warm clothes, but don't worry about the snow suits!

Warm clothes and some sort of waterproof jacket should do. Welcome back.

something warm and waterproof.

The walking dead
Warm clothing, it will be cold

Depends on how susceptible to cold you are and where you are going. I am in London and would say it is 'mild for the time of year'

Heavy weight trousers - vest shirt pullover then you can vary the layers. overcoat/rainproof

sit in a fridge for ten minutes at minus 1 and ten decide what you need. sales on here at the moment and the exchange rate is good for you so why not bring smll amount and then buy what you need. saves on excess plane baggage charges.

LOVERRR
its really cold here in these last few days so u will need a coat that will keep u warm, waterproof jacket, umbrella, boots

alan m
Its cold but you can manages with a couple of sweaters and a heavy coat.Forget the T shirts. Thats for summer.

You'll also need the obligatory T shirt with "whinging pom" slogan on it. And don't forget the leather big hat with dangly corks so that we know where you're from and can make the appropriate "prisoner" gags about you and call you Bruce.

pack about 2 sleeve less t-shirts (because the weather is so unpredictable). but i would usually wear polo neck jumpers, jeans, long sleeved t-shirts and water-proofs would be the best clothes to wear, i would say. also gloves, scarfs and hats to keep warm when it is very cold.

A big hat, the bigger the better.

It is usually very cold at this time of year but temperatures are around 11 degrees centigrade at the moment! However, there is said to be a cold spell ahead so bring a mix of woolies and the long sleeved teeshirts. Lots of layers are best in this weather. Don't forget scarves and warm hats!

wrap up well.

Bring t shirts you will need them as under wear, some houses are kept very warm and you may want to take off your sweater and have the t shirt on indoors.

Wool stuff. a water proof jacket with hood. water proof shoes, gloves.

The weather is either mild and wet or cold and dry. Can get windy too. Step inside your fridge for an hour, that is about right.
