yes i have been there, its a lovely little town, i used to go to the river swale, absolultey beau!! 10 min drive from catterick

used to work there. sod all shopping but the river is great when it rains/snows heavy.
Can recommend the chippy in the centre of the market square!

I live in Harrogate near there, yes it is nice, like most yorkshire towns

Richmond is beautiful especially on a hot summers day swimming in the river or just walking down it have family that live in richmond there is quite a few things to do and the scenary is beautiful

yes and I love the place.. Lovely river, castlle and loads of good walks and pubs with great food and beer. surrounding areas in wensleydale and swaledale are brill too.
Well worth a visit.

yes i live not far from there, it is lovely and picturesque, i usually take my kids there in the holidays to the castle, they love it
