depends on what you are looking for. I think the people in scotland are very nice and it's a lovely accent. The English are more reserved, but they've got some nice countryside. |

Scotland. I found the people to be more friendly and it's absolutely beautiful along the West Coast (Especially Ayrshire!). |

Born and raised in England but given the choice I'd prefer to be in Scotland. I visit maybe 10 or 20 times a year and the people are very freindly and it's a a much better quality of life. It seems that in recent years England has really gone down hill but Scotland has, to a large extent, avoided that.
At the end of the day I guess it's personal preference that decides. |
