there are so many variations of both accents it is very hard to answer. for instance, the glasgow accent is very strong but as you go further north ie the highlands its a lot softer and is said to speak the best queens english. in england, however, the cockney dialect is reknowned around the world and is very hard for other nationalities to understand.......good luck with report..........it was a hard task!

I'm American. I love the Scottish brogue.

I feel you would need to be specific as there are a huge variety of accents in both Scotland and England. I personally enjoy a Lancashire accent, but I hope I wouldn't be judgemental of someone simply because of the way they speak.

I'm from New Zealand and personally I love the Scottish accent as do most of my friends. To compare with the English accent is hard because what IS an English accent. Everywhere we go it sounds different so many different dialects. I have to say though, when you hear the sort of almost accentless English spoken by educated english people it is lovely so....

scouse accent is the best. ( liverpool)

Im not english nor Scottish.
But I like the posh English accent best as it sounds more proper and standard English. It is also easier to understand.
