if you cancel, you'll be for ever asking yourself "what if?" you need to take chances in life to live it. London is a huge city but it is a relatively safe city. I travelled around Europe by myself when i was 18 as well and as apprehensive as i was about taking such a challenge it turn out to be the best thing i have ever done and change my life for the better. I think London is waiting for you, go for this trip and make the most of it, and most importantly just go and have fun. |

If you're really that worried about it then go to Frankfurt but by doing this and changing your plans you're letting these people win.
I live in London and I very rarely think about it. Its just part of life. I wouldn't let it stop me doing what I wanted to, lifes too short. |

There are hundreds of flights out of London everyday completely without event. It's understandable that you are worried but the chances of anything happening to you is verry very remote. There is heightened security which means a greater presence of police and army and more checks, which theoretically makes it safer this week than it was two weeks ago when there was less security. |

Yes. After the 7/7 bombings, London was back to business the next day. Unlike America, we do not let these things effect us as much, we get on with it. These things didn't even go off and swift police action has cleared the areas. In a few weeks, most of us will have forgotten about all of this and will hopefully be enjoying sunny weather (I wish!) |

Yes, it does sound silly. Your attitude is exactly the type that terrorists want to create.
London is no more dangerous than anywhere else. 15 years ago it was the IRA letting off bombs and now its Al Queda. Screw 'em and go anyway.
I hear they have a lot of dangerous scary spiders in Australia, do you think I ought not to visit ? |

for all you know, travelling alone will be a great learning experience. take frankfurt. at least you can see it, a very beautiful and clean place too. |

If its a stop over you should go because you will be in a security controlled bit of the airport. But i wouldnt be that worried because as long as your safe about where u go and try to avoid busy areas at certian times of day - go when its quiet. You will be fine. |

we are on the highest alert so now is the safest time to travel. I travelled to crete last year after the terrorist scare and they are more vigilant. Dont be scared thats what they want, we cant let them win, they have already tried glasgow, london and possibly france! |

by making us question if it is safe to go somewhere just means they won. |

If you are really feeling scared, then go to Frankfurt and enjoy your last 2 weeks. Dont let them be spoiled cos you are worrying.
You'll be fine, either way. |
