Yes. If you don't tell them and need to make a claim, they won't pay out. Also this would be fraud (I think) so it is illegal. |

If you're from the UK yes as it's a legal requirement plus it's a moral choice to be honest. If you don't tell them that you have points you've invalidated your insurance and that means you're technically driving without insurance which again is illegal. If you have an accident, the insurance company won't pay out and the other party in the accident will lose out too as it means they'll have to lose their no claims as they will have to claim for repairs if you can't stump up the money personally.
It may cost you more in the short term but if you don't tell all, it could cost you a great deal more - including your license if you're pulled by the police and found to be without valid insurance. You may even gain a criminal record - either for fraud or for driving without insurance.
Update: I just did some checking and found this: "Motor insurance is a legal requirement - A motor insurance policy provides you with cover (and therefore peace of mind) against potentially very high costs. After all, if you cause an accident that results in loss of life or permanent injury to other people, the cost of the claim can be into millions of pounds. You cannot drive a motor vehicle without a valid motor insurance policy, and there are stiff fines and penalties (including a jail sentence) if you are found to be driving without having motor insurance cover." There's more info if you need even more evidence to make up your mind. |

No. If they need to know they will find out.
Often when you get speeding tickets or "points" on your liscense they just sit there as far as your insurance is concerned.
If you are in an accident your insurance company will pull your driving records and apply all of that stuff retrospective=ly. If you tell them now, all you'll be doing is raising your rates. |

yes, it may invalidate your policy if you don't. It may cost you more but better that and having full cover. |

Yes it will invalidate yr claim if you have to make one cos they check with swansea. SP30's add cost to yr premium but safer to declare it.. bummer tho' |

I would think that is illegal if you don't. I don't know the law when it comes to that, but morally, yes you need to tell. Sorry that is the right thing to do. |

Only if they ask. If they don't than its not relevant. |
