any lager or pilsener beer would be considered light in comparison to english ales. about half the calories. but, there's no beating english ale for flavor and true beer-ness. use moderation |

If beer (real ales etc) then I don't know of any low cal ones. Might be best sticking to LCL as someone already suggested! |

In the UK, there isn't a light beer - all beer pretty much contain the same high number of calories. If you're lucky, you might find some local brewery somewhere that does a low calorie beer. However, be aware that the term 'light' when applied to beer in the UK usually means low alcohol, not low calorie. |

Try inhaling helium after a few pints. This should make you lighter (but probably best not to smoke whilst doing it). |

I don't know if it's made any more but there used to be LCL in the north east low calorie lager. |
