im an oswestry lad so i guess im going to know.
on a national scale shrewsbury is a fairly typical little (ish) town.
the violence isnt particularly bad,
the drug problem isnt out of control
its not completely full of chavs and hoodies
its a nice place
thats why people dont know of it.
we know though, and hey, lets keep it a secret. |

Its in Shropshire.
Beautiful pubs, gorgeous gardens and parks and there are a number of annual festivals,.....England at its best.
(have a beer and a cream tea if you go) xx |

I'm from Scotland, have spent holidays staying in guest houses in Shrewsbury, and will definitely be going back as there is so much to see round about. I know Shrewsbury has some weirdly-named streets in it, and that there are weirdly-named villages nearby. |

Best place in Shropshire is Ludlow. Lovely village, all quaint and sleepy. Has a couple of annual festivals and a castle, and the people are great! |
