Yes there was an earthquake about half an hour ago. almost the whole of uk has felt it. My heart is still thumping!

Yeah it was very very scary, first thing I thought of (as I was half asleep) was that it was some sort of poltergeist in my bedroom! I didn't for a second think it was an Earthquake! Glad I had my roomie, was bloody freaky!! Glad everybody's ok though and it wasn't major!! -x-x-

yep felt it also hit 4.7 on the rictor scale.

Epicenter is 30 miles South of Hull.
