The Welsh - northern or southern? |
being from wales, i've been called a northerner by londoners but really swansea is in the south. what do you think? northern, southern or just welsh?

welsh. just like scots arent northerners. i suppose the terms "northerners and southerners" generally just apply to the english.if anything i'd say you're westerners. we mancs like the welsh though! |

Northern or southern Welsh? :) Actually it's a daft distinction to make - the mid-point of the island runs somewhere across Lancashire and Yorkshire, so all of Wales is pretty far south. |

i'm from North Wales and recently moved down to Cardiff and get called a Gog. Wales is more West then North unless they think we near Scotland. I would call myself Welsh or a North Wallian.
I didn't know that most people in North Wales spoke Welsh, I thought that was in the South?? Don't know anyone who speaks in - Wrexham don't seem to. |

well yes ur welsh, im also welsh but im from the north, its no different really,,
but I do hate southeners that say we are better than the northeners, the only reason is I have spoke to a lot of southerners and they dont even speak there language (welsh) what is that saying for our country, majority of ppl in north all speak welsh.. so for them that are proud to be welsh and from wales speak ur language like we do in the north... im not gettin to u the asker of this question im getting to the ppl that have allready answerd...CYMRU AM BYTH BOIS!!!!!!!! |
