Probably - but could take more if the traffic is bad, you'll have to go through some busy parts of the country. It really depends on when you travel oh and how fast you drive :)

Please punctuate properly folks.

Check on theaa.com for the mileage, or use the national rail planner if using the trains. National Express if using the coach. Do I have to to tell you to put shoes and socks on?

Depends when you travel. It could be a little bit less, but if you travel between 4-7 on a weekday it could be a lot more. The M6 is a bit of a car park in the evenings when you get down towards Birmingham. Also busy is the stretch around the M4 and Bristol.

murphywingedspur
Its about 177 miles, give or take, and should take approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours, check this out either on www.theaa.com, or www.getmethere.co.uk

Ryan
Yes, probably about 4 hours from Manchester. The roads on the way are good though, almost all motorway.

Bath is close to the M4 near Bristol way, it is quite a drive and sometimes the traffic is bad that way specially over the bank holiday.

Ammo
I just checked on google maps and it is about 3 hours 20 mins but depends on when you are going cos it gets pretty congested on the M4

Wamibo
You do not say whether you are going by train, car or air or what time of day or night you plan to do the referred to jorney.
Nor do you state how much of the traffic jams of Manchester you would need to pass through etc...But whichever you choose it is likely to take at least 4 hours whether you go by train via London or cross country or by motorway or by airline from Manchester to Bristol airport. .
