Yorkshire..... England's biggest & best county

Goathland, North Yorkshire - Not only the location for HOGSMEADE Station in the first 2 HARRY POTTER movies, but also location to some pretty jaw dropping scenery:

Whitby, North Yorkshire - Recently voted Britain's best SeaSide Resort..... reports in Friday's local paper that Dolphin's have recently been spotted close to shore from one of the local Tourist boats.

Not too far away, right next to the village of SeaSide village of Sandsend is Mulgrave Woods (only open to the public on certain days), which has a ruined Castle in there somewhere, but I always seem to get lost in there and..... but last time I did stumble across a Deer of some sort.

Ah, what a shame you don't say which part of Britain you are visiting. There is a place called the Lake District which is in Cumbria, Devon and Cornwall, Wales, Scottish Highlands, all these plalces have natural beauty
and wildlife. |

Slymbridge bird sanctuary is very popular. Also Lundy island in the Bristol Channel is very unspoilt and full of wildlife including puffins and seals. Of course the Northern Scottish isles are also rich in wildlife. The Mendip hills have a lot of wild deer. The Lake District of course is a favourite for long walks, great views and wildlife. |

A visit to mid-Wales should do it and if you are feeling energetic a walk up Plynlymon. ( For location check any Mid-Wales tourism web site.) Great views of Cardigan Bay and on a clear day of Snowdonia. Fabluss old son and you knows it. |

The most beautiful and stunning place in England is the Lake District in the North West.
Hundreds of small lakes surrounded by hills and mountains and nature. |

Fantastic sea lochs, and the view over to Skye from the Applecross peninsula is just magical. |

Of course if you go to Scotland or Wales you can see nice scenery and awful locals combined with sheep and bad weather.
But in England you can see... the lake district, the peak district, dartmoor, exmoor (though I'll admit it's not that nice), York, the Yorkshire Dales, Salisbury, The Cotswolds, and so much more that listing it all would take a lifetime.
Come on, England is the most beautiful country in the world, the Romans built a wall to keep the Scotland away from England so it wouldn't spoil things and someone built Offa's Dyke to stop Wales from doing the same on that side of the country.
Try Ireland too though, that's supposed to be very nice. |

Scotland has loads of really beautiful countryside. You should try to go to Loch Lomond or up to the Highlands. |

Lulworth Cove and Minterne Gardens down in Dorset are very pretty.
The whole of Wales is a great place to see nature, lots of hills, mountains, lakes, valleys and there are plenty of opportunites to walk around nature there. |
