worst place is the flats at the west end, full of unemployed drunks and drugs, ferguslie park has a bad name but there are good and bad bits, in any certain area in paisley you can have good streets and bad streets so its really difficult to generalize, honistly the best person to ask if you have a place in mind to move to is a paisley taxi driver, they know exactly the quality of people that live in particular areas!!

My late husband lived in Paisley until he came to Canada. I still have two sisters in law that live on Esk Drive.

Historically it was Ferguslie Park, although I think it has much improved. West End is now getting quite run down. One of the nicest areas is Ralston, especially those parts to the immediate east of Ralston Park.

Thornly Park is a nice place to live, I knew a girl from college who lived there. Big trad red sandstone houses, quite middle-class I guess.
