depends what you are into
if its scenery its the best.
if its sheep not as many as Yorkshire ( so you can forget about the wellies joke, also the farmers get Jealous and may shoot you)'
if its night clubs even our little Newtown has a good night club even if it is only at weekends.
if its birds, Feathered, we have the Red kite as to name one,
and plenty of the others, who love the Scots in a kilt they think y fronts are not invented up in Scotland.
We also boast some very good beers, and Danzy Jones Whiskey, a new drink from Anglesey vodka mixed with cider, very good wines and Excellent cheeses, the best beef in the world the welsh black, pork & bacon from the welsh large white
some good B&b's what more excuse do you need to pay us a visit, and you don't need a passport

?
10% better than everywhere else.

I love Wales - I live in Cardiff and it is a great place to live. We have a bustling city centre, there are beautiful beaches which get better and warmer as you move along the coast towards West Wales, fantastic mountains, scenic reservoirs, lakes, beautiful scenery - it is a great place and most of the people are great. Yes we have our slums just like everywhere else but all of the above mentioned out weigh all that. When the weather is dry and warm it is beautiful but yes we have our fair share of rain however this summer is going to be a scorcher so come to Wales and you won't be disappointed

brainyandy
To the Welsh it's probably quite a nice place.

I have lived in North Wales all my life and am very happy here. The scenery around Snowdonia is stunning and the coastline is lovely. I don't think that it rains here any more than anywhere else. It isn't all sheep and rain.
I have family in Powys, Mid Wales which has some beautiful mountainous scenery.

im not welsh but cardiff is a top place

Wales is a bit like, errrrrrrrr, a bit like, ummmmmmm, a little bit like Cardiff, a bit like Swansea, with just a touch of Wrexham in it in the north. Lots of green countryside and this is situated in- between England and the irish Sea.

There you go. To the Welsh Wales is rather like Iceland!!

Stay blessed!! xx

I live in Wales and i'm welsh, Welsh is my first language, Wales is so beautiful, will never move from Wales. THE ONLY THING WE FIND IS THE ENGLISH PEOPLE COME HERE TO LIVE AND THEY THINK THEY CAN TAKE OVER THE WELSH, WELL I'M SORRY TO SAY IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, WE DONT MIND IF THEY GET ON WITH US BUT SOME OF THEM ARE VERY RUDE.WE GOT TO SPEAK ENGLISH IF WE GO TO ENGLAND SO IF THEY WANT TO LIVE HERE THEY SHOULD RESPECT OUR LANGUAGE. NOS DA- GOOD NIGHT. CARIAD- LOVE

I live in Swansea which is a City in South Wales. Fantastis Shops, Clubs and Entertainment. It is vibrant and alive. People are very friendly and great to be around.
5 mins from where I live I can either be on a beautiful Beach or in the Countryside. It's the perfect place to live.

What's that supposed to mean? It's like the rest of the UK but a bit poorer in places. There is an elitist feeling in areas with a lot of Welsh speakers though, if you can't speak Welsh, North and West mostly. It has some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK, the best beaches and one of the best music scenes in the country (South Wales).
