Well, if you're not trolling, London is the financial capital of the world. It needs people from everywhere to be run, especially in the field of finance. |

London is and always has been, like all other major cities of the World, a cosmopolitan place. From Roman Londinium to Ken Livingstonium and will be to infinity and beyond.
People want to leave for the country? Good luck. You don't know what you are missing. |

I'm not sure where you stand on this subject- you're saying that the English can be quite disapproving towards outsiders, but what you've written here suggests that you don't like outsiders either. I'm a bit confused, fella.
London has a vast mix of different races and cultures- it's bound to happen in a city so old, accessible and densely populated. Personally i wouldn't live there because it's expensive, dirty and unfriendly- it has nothing to do with the colour of people crowding the streets, surely? |

so what your disapproving immigrants, tourists & multi cultured people in the county's capitol..as long as there there legally an d are working or studying i have no problem with them being here...i just have a problem with raciest people who cant bare the fact that people find living in the UK attractive! |

well if england wants to colonise half the world they can't complain when half the world comes to them..fairs fair don't you think. They mostly go to london because they will experience racism everywhere else. |

I've only been to London twice (I live further up north) and it was very surprising as to just how many ethnic minority people were walking around. Where I come from we're lucky if we see one person of an ethnic minority a week.
However it's not just London - parts of Middlesbrough and Bradford (good examples) are getting just as populated.
Not that I'm saying this is a bad thing of course - just an observation. |

Juan G: why you have to specify Muslims?!!! stop being brainwashed by the propaganda!!
Dragon: probably they were speaking in English with their own accent and you couldn't understand? i am living in Australia and i've heard a case of how some people told non-native speakers off by saying: if you want to speak english, speak proper english!! (they were actually speaking english with their own non-native accent)
i mean come on, everyone is the same regardless their cultural background, religion, ethnicity.. i love diversity and this is what makes the world interesting! i love the fact that i can meet so many people from different countries and backgrounds just by staying in a city. |

Maybe you should get to know people before you judge them. What reason do you have to care? |

What complete rubbish.
London is a World city and welcomes people from all over the World, and it always has done - Huguenots, European Jews, West Indians, Indians, Eastern Europeans - they've come here for centuries and made London the exciting multi-cultural, cosmopolitan centre that it is.
Immigrants built London literally and metaphorically and toursim is how it makes a large part of it's income. |

London is the city where racism is very less as most of the people are foriegners... Polish is now the 2nd Language of the UK. |

The thing that p**ss#s me off is that when I get on a bus or the tube all I hear is non english be spoken. If I was to say go and live in an Eastern European country I would learn the language first and speak it in public so as not to offend the natives of said country. But that does not happen here for some reason.
Just how many thumbs down will I get? |
