Oswestry in shropshire. A town where there is absolutely nothing to do, it's full of card shops, takeaways and second hand shops. Almost half of the shops in the town centre are derelict, the only bookshop (apart from the crap wh smiths) is closing down and the pubs are full of people handing their giro in to the bar staff. You never hear birds sing in this craphole. Makes royston vasey look cheerful. visit at your peril.

Brighton, half council estate, half industrial estate and covered with grime.
Yes, it has a Royal Pavilion but that's the only pleasant thing I could find there.

Filthy, cold, miserable and depressing.

Worst place I've ever had the misfortune to find myself in.

Can i have a partiular place in a town or city rather than the city as a whole? If so then Butlins at Bognor Regis, i just think i was too old to go when i did, it rained all weekend, the indoor pool was closed, the food was disgusting, and it was just basically the shittest weekend i ever had lol!!
