Did the booze/ciggies/catfood run earlier. Judging by the amount of seagulls inland it's going to be a bit rough later. |

In southern Scotland, we have ALREADY had TWO WORSE storms this winter. Winds above 80mph happen most winters. But, as usual, when the wind gets above 50mph, England panics and it hits the headlines as if it is something exceptional. It is about time that the English snivellers grew up and learnt to cope with the weather. As it happens, it looks as if the worse of this particular storm will by-pass Scotland. |

No! Anyway according to the forecasters the south is going to get the worst of it, at least they will find out what a summer's day is like up North ! |

I've counted my chimneys...
(one at each end of the house)
And got a good supply of logs indoors beforehand.
If it's going to be the worst of the winter, that's going to be quite impressive, given what we've already had up on the edge of Bodmin Moor.
And we've been warned off going to the coast to get pictures of the waves. Hmm... Land's End or Cape Cornwall could be spectacular on Tuesday morning.
I do have a deerstalker: they're wondefully practical hats, and it's only really bad weather when it's "flaps down" and tied on. |

I haven't heard about a storm? If it does come, as long as it leaves my house and car intact and doesn't wake me up then I'll be happy enough lol
Oh, and doesn't cut off the electricity - If theres ever going to be a power cut you can be sure it will be in my street >:( |

First I've heard of it!
I have to start my next teaching practice tomorrow, so fingers crossed everyone!
My little accuweather add on in Firefox claims we're having snow in Brum tonight. And rain tomorrow, but no storm. |

Not all of the UK will get them,
The UK is England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland altogether,
England & Wales. |
