Hi, i think you should go on the london eye, see a show, go outdoor iceskating (they have these around christmas in somerset house), uhm.. madame tussuauds maybe. It also depends on how much money you have as things like london dungeons/tussauds are quite expensive and so you would be better off booking them online first as they are cheaper. ooh you could also go the imax cinema if its really cold where they show films in 3d!

Have a great trip!

Too confidential !

Ride the London Eye, go to the London Dungeon (not for the squeamish). In December anywhere indoors is good ;-)

spagbolfordinner
Ice skaing at Somerset house and the Christmas lights at Oxford street/ Regent street.....

But other than that, as mentioned before, try and stay indoors! bound to be cold and most likely raining!!

All the museums are free.

I went in the Science Museum to kill a couple of hours recently and came out six hours later, tired from all the interactive stuff.

The Imperial War Museum is a must, and I enjoyed the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Museum and ther Natural History Museum.

The open topped tourist buses are a good way of getting around - you can hop on and hop of wherever you get the urge, for about £16 ($32) for 24 hours. Both the Red and the Brown buses include a free river tip for this. It's good to be able to spot something interesting and stop awhile.

You'll easily fill your time up in one the THE tourist cities in the world.

In the eveneing?

There's pubs. clubs, restaurants etc. Or get a half price theatre ticket from the official TKTS booth at the bottom of Leicester square - this is where unsold and suplus tickets are sold off by the theatres - not to be confused with the 1001 "discount" places you'll find all over the city - head for TKTS, they open at 9am weekedays.

Also recommended - The Comedy Store - buy and advance ticket online before your visit - better than queuing up for 2 hours to get in.

Enjoy your trip.

I think i'd have a look in Harrods as Christmas there is something else. Also Hamleys usually have a santa if you have kids with you.

Look at the display in Selfridges window, usually quite interesting. You can check out the lights in Oxford Street whie you are at it.
Go ice skating at Sommerset House.
