The Welsh language is uniquely Welsh. So too Welsh cakes. Little known fact: Paul Robeson (the African American actor, singer, leftie and all-round good guy) visited Wales and recorded an English-language version of Land of My Fathers, their national anthem.
Another little-known fact: Wales is the likely birthplace of St Patrick.
Did you know there are Welsh-speakers in Argentina? I bet you did, so you can't count that as a little-known fact. |
