The weather is a bit of a problem. Don't go out without an umbrella AND suncream!
It is full of history and culture. Wherever you go, there will be something connected with heritage. The night life is pretty good in most places. There are lots of things t odo and places to visit. You will always find somewhere where the food is great because there is a diverse variety of restaurants and take-aways. I only speak for England because I don't know about the other UK countries. Well, Wales has lots of farms, fields and sheep!

At the moment, it's not too cold, it's raining, and a feels like there's going to be a storm. It's a nice place to live, there are loads of pubs, and good places to eat. The UK has some wonderful heritage. All in all it's a pretty decent place to live, and a wonderful place to be!

Viva la ENGLAND!

The UK is getting crowded. As previously mentioned the weather is generally changable and a main topic of conversation. The regional accents would be quite difficult for an American to get a grip on sometimes. For the culture vultures and those with an appreciation for history then this is the place to be. There is good nightlife, international quisine and in the main we are friendly people. The UK is quite an expensive place to be. We are taxed to hell on our earnings, what we buy, where we live and no doubt other money grabbing schemes will be in the pipeline by our government in the future. Our islands however are beautiful and diverse. We are a proud people. Hope this helps.

It's great! u get to meet alot of people from different cultures esp when you are a student. i enjoy being there. well.. the weather is a little tricky though, most of the time it is cloudy and rainy. and it's pretty cold there too, especially when it's it further north of uk.

Sara Jayne
