Gasoline, food, guns, beer, clothing, jewellery, cars, motorcycles, houses, pretty much most stuff. The only things I noticed that were the same price as the UK were cigarettes. The only thing more expensive was healthcare!!

First L
the s-l-u-t-t-y women.

(A.a.K)
99.5% of stuff in America is cheaper than UK. Please go for a trip to Amercia and find out for yourself.

Quite simply, almost everything. They don't call it Rip-Off Britain for nothing! Prices in the UK for everything from food to branded clothes to DVDs to CDs to petrol is atrocious in the UK and I imagine many Americans have a heart-attack when they come over and see what we have to pay.

trainers - you can get a pair of nike ones for £15
also perfume - everything more or less is half price at present due to a good exchange rate $1.00 is equal to £0.50p

Corky
Anything worth having.

english guy 1985
almost everything, although Iv heard several people say that some groceries especially fresh produce is actually cheaper in the UK

Paul H
Forget the exchange rate.
I've been travelling to USA since 1968, and everything is cheaper in the USA. In the UK we do have the Health Service, which I suppose is our only Jewel in the Crown as far as free/cheap product that is actually worth something.

everyfin i fink

i work my **** off all week and i can barely pay for my bills and partying lol

by the way if ur a smoker, ur cool lol only jokin if ur a smoker a pack of 20 cigarettes would cost nearly 6 quid, nearly 12 dollars, and u throw ashes in a public area and get caught u pay 75 quid

all these taxes and ova dosh go to the bloody long nosed queen, all hail

**Edit
why is everyone saying clothes and trainers, this country is one of the most expensive countries in the world, i fink japan comes first (u know what theyre finkin, what do u gotta do to put sushi on ur family lol)

someone said chocolate actually this is interesting, cos i noticed swiss chocolate is cheaper in this country

so if i get a good job in the here (higher wages as well) i could probably buy the land of opportunity lol
