Sadly, far too many immigrants. I'm not racist, but I just feel they have taken over the country, and it no longer belongs to the English. Gun/knife crime is a major problem, and the cost of living is exthortionate!! I moved to Cyprus last year; my council tax is just £60 per year, petrol is half the price of that in the U.K. Its safe and friendly....I rarely lock my house or car....and, hey, they sun shines virtually all year round!!!

I love living in England. If you read our newspaper you could be forgiven thinking otherwise. Englands not bad by any stretch of the imagination. Most people in England drive from their three bedroom semis to the shops & back. This is there life. They constantly complain about the weather. I love the unpredictabilaty of the weather. If you get outside the cities there are lots of loverly places to go. In the cities there is alots of things to do. Lots of people in England can not be bothered to get of their backsides. I could go on for hours. But I am tied & it would probably bore the pants of you.

One thing I would add. " the grass is not allways greener on the other side of the fence."

Our ancestors died in world war two...only for modern day politicians to flood this country with cheap labour.

Many more problems now....and many Brits who can afford to are moving out because of it.
No more fish and chip shops...open air swimming pools.....etc etc..........just more and more blocks of flats, more people, more traffic...more laws and daft rules........... and more misery.

No more fun.

I probably wouldn't but if i was to it would be for the space and the mountains, but like i say i got all that in Scotland so would rather be there, plus half of us aren't french, they're not English either mind but still, you get the picture. Oh how i long for the legends of English England to come back. Only a matter of time till the true English kick out the foreigners and its the 70's and 80's all over again.

I Love living in North East England. Its great. I would love to stay here all my life - its the one area i really feel i belong to, if i stay anywhere else, it never quite matches up, so no, i wouldn't move to Canada - the North East is home to me, and i hope it is for many years to come =)

England is a great country with so much to be proud of,much of Canada has the same sensibilities of a bygone England,I would live in either if I had the choice. However I do know that owing to Government policies over the past 10 years that the UK as a whole has a real immigration problem and crime seems as bad as it is in NYC,I hope they sort it all out soon!

lol at the other comment, that sounds very NF..

Anyway, if I could move to Canada I WOULD, my parents have considered it but you have to meet the visa requirements and Canada have strict requirements because their job employment is low, they're trying to get people to set up businesses in their country. ACTUALLY this might just be for Vancouver because that's where we were planning to move to.

England is NOWHERE near as good as Vancouver, goddddddd lol. The people are sooo friendly in Vancouver, people will chat to you if you're waiting at a bus stop, if people see you lost they'll offer to help. Also Vancouver is quite a culturally diverse society so the people there are more willing to accept people from different cultural backgrounds.
Vancouver is soo spaced out compared to England, everywhere you go in England there's people, pollution is high as well especially in London, everywhere you go someone's smoking. The roads are bigger in Vancouver you can walk it'll just be peaceful, you can't do that in England lol.

England is rather crap to be honest, education is okay it's supposed to be one of the best in the world, but overall the country's so messed up. You have fat people sitting in houses provided by the council with 10 children living off Mcdonalds while decent people who have actually bothered to go to Uni and get a decent job so that they can pay for these people to live and then die of obesity.
People are rude in england, you get chavs that vandalise property, shout abuse at people, start fights, murder people.

Yeh theres lots to say about why Canada is so much better than England.
Another thing that pisses me off is the NF that is a pathetic political party, only the narrow minded vote for this bad excuse for a party.
Watch 'This is England' that puts England into perspective.

BTW England isn't AS bad as I've made out, it's okay to live in, I'm still alive and well after living in England for years. I shall be moving out though, the taxes are incredibly high. We pay taxes so that our country can go to war. PATHETIC.

Living in England is crap , I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else.

England is $hit but Canada is to close to an even bigger $hithole it would be a deserted island for me
