This depends on what you like to do. There is a huge bookstore @StPauls ,go in and look around. Go to Hyde Park and watch the people. You can also go to a Church service. If you are able to find a map,put it in your pocket and just wonder, check out the buildings still in reuien from WWII. Go to soho and watch, you might get lucky met someone who will show you the real London. If you are talented in some way use it to get 10bob more and buy the all day tube pass, have fun going everywere.(be mindfull the bobby could nick you for that.) There is always a play to see or a street play to take part in, I would use tallent to get more quid, and take the train to Oxford,Caimbridge and Colechester.Oxford of course is home to Alice in wonderland, Bleinem Palace, brithplace to Churchill.CS Lewis taught there and a Caimbridge. Colechester has a real Norman built Castle made from Brick and concrete, then the romans also ocupied it. |

Go to the luxury toilets on Oxford Street. It's called WC1 and is opposite Selfridges. It costs £5 and you get soft towels, on oversized cubicle big enough to change into your best clothes in, the best hand cream, a luxury environment, fresh flowers and a hygenically sealed toilet.

About 7PM you can go into the Houses of Parliament for free and listen and watch the British Government in action, wigs and all. The inside is magnificent, all red velvet and gold. You will sit in the visitor's gallery and have no trouble at all hearing or seeing if you chose this particular time to go. It is an easy walk from anywhere in Central London. Spend your 5 pounds on a Beer and some chips as you wander 'home' to your B&B. |

Use it to open a savings account in london and return every quarter century to invest the interest earned in other opportunities. By itself five pounds is five pounds but a long
view of the fiver is the best thing to do. |
