get a local paper, look for all the birthday announcements then go round each household and steal the helium balloons from the front of the house(as its now the current trend) tie the balloons to an old chair cut the rope and cross your fingers.

From your local bus station you can go to Liverpool on National Express coaches. Check out their web site for exact times and prices.

Should be around Â£12 return.

Hitch Hike or look out for a lorry with a liverpool no on the side and scrounge a lift. My brother got from penzance to southampton this way some years ago.

check out & book early @ www.megabus.com. I used it several times to leicester & it worked for me if you have the time. it is a very long journey i'd say around 6 or so hours depending on traffic. their bus stop is behind london victoria station. Hope to be of some help.

get yourself to london, then if you book ahead, check out national express 'funfares' as well as megabus and megatrain to liverpool. they start at Â£1.
