What's the most luxurious and expensive neighbourhood in Glasgow?

Depends what part of Glasgow you stay in, I'm sure the people in Pollok have luxurious house the same as the people in Bearsden. I don't mean to be rude to the people that were born or stayed in those tenement flats at the Saltmarket or Argyle Street but I think they are probably the most disgusting building I have seen, I remember them in the 60's and are probably now the most expensive ones in City centre because they are in Merchant City. I was born and stayed in Dennistoun in the east end but moved to a new town in 1964 but i would never want to move back to Glasgow City Centre. So I am sure Glasgow is what you make of it yourself.

The West End, Milngavie, Bearsden and Pollockshields.

disgusted with councils
I would think some parts of the westend, & as previously said Pollockshields has some very nice & very expensive properties.

According to my Modern Studies class, Bearsden is the wealthiest and Drumchapel is the most impoverished area.

Newton Mearns - Upper Class but was once poor.

Bearsden - The snobbiest poshest richest neighbourhood in Glasgow.

Milngavie - 2nd behind Bearsden.

I don't think Glasgow is any different than any other big city. You have to be careful anywhere now. Times have changed, or maybe the people have changed.

Giselle
Bearsden, cause I live there ;-p
