There are lots of pretty villages around the place. Dunster is one that springs to mind. If you like rugged, wild beauty, then there are a good number of national parks for that sort of thing. |

Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. It was beautiful. It's an old town with an open air market most days. Near by is Chatsworth House which was shown in the 2005 release of Pride and Prejudice as the outside of Mr. Darcy's house. |

I agree with most - the Lakes are fantastic, however, my favourite place in the whole world would be Rivington in Lancashire, and nearby the old quarry at Anglezarke, where you can look out over the whole of Lancashire, and on a clear day, you can see Blackpool Tower and the Big One. Its truely remarkable! |

Otley in North Yorkshire, about 20 mins north of Leeds. It's a gorgeous picturesque small town with little lanes, a local market, all sorts of independent shops and a stunning river garden. Thomas Cippendale was born there so it's got some interesting history too. The surrounding countryside is absolutely breath taking too! |
