The Tate Modern - could spend hours in there.
The parks are well worth a visit if you have time as well, Richmond Park is pretty magical as it has deer running around it.
Actually London is pretty good for attractions - Windsor Castle, Tower of London, the Natural History Museams are all great too.
- I also like the Hope and Anchor pub in Islington. |

Don't bother with the London dungeon. It is more like a theme park than a historic attraction (unless you like theme parks)
I like St Katherine's dock, next to the Tower of London, and Regents Park and the Zoo. |

Probably the London Eye (if I really could only pick one thing as a must-do).
Things which are vastly overaated and should be avoided:-
Madame Tussauds, The Changing of The Guard (though the Palace itself is well worth a visit), The London Dungeon - all dreadful! |

Favourite attraction(s) - National Portrait Gallery (just off Trafalgar Square) and the Globe Theatre, Bankside.
Places to avoid - Madame Tussauds, Harrods (except the Food Halls) and Tower of London. |

I have no idea about what is not worth seeing, sorry.
I just love the Natural History Museum.
I love the architecture, the contents, the smell and even the punters!
London has over three hundred and sixty museums alone , so you should be able to find something quirky if you want to impress. Or what about a Jack The Ripper or a Ghost Walk? |

I love the theatre in London. There are so many stage shows of all qualities all over London and you can get half price tickets to many of the shows at the stand at Leichester Square the day of the performance. |

i enjoyed the changing of the guards at Buckingham palace (though i had to get there an hour early for a good spot) and Hyde park especially speakers corner (on Sunday).
i was bored out of my mind at Westminster Abbey. |

I really like the Natural History Museum. Could spend days there. I also enjoy sitting near the fountains at Trafalgar square.
London Eye is nice, but it is only worth going on it once you have seen the city more. That way when you see St Paul's, you'll actually be able to recognize it and appreciate where it is in comparison with the other land marks you've become aquainted with. |
