Luke M.

What are some places that I can visit in the UK ?

I have this break from school from 20th Oct to 4th Nov and it's the first time I'm in the UK as well so thought maybe I'd like to tour around and get to know the country. I'm in Scotland right now and needless to say, I love it. I am a person of beautiful landscapes so the purpose of this trip is to, mainly, just come, behold and take pictures of where I have been. Do you guys suggest any places that are not at all tourist-ish but just oneself and nature ? (Sounds really romantic but I know it's impossible to find such a place now). I am well budgeted and can afford flights to anywhere in the UK but just wonder on how to get the most out of my trip. I will love you forever if you can give some ideas ^.^

The Lake District is beautiful but a lot of it is quite touristy. You have to go off the beaten track to get away from it! I would also suggest Northumberland which has some beautiful coastlines if you're into that.

People have already said Wales and I agree there also...

I would also highly reccommend you go to Cornwall if you are into coasts again.

Go down to the Lake District - Lake Windermere is stunning.

Yes, York is good too.

In Scottland, go to Roslyn and to the Highlands.
You can also fly to Belfast and from there take a tour coach to the Antrim coast. It is absolutely beautiful.
