Welcome To England
The London Eye is a must, because, for a relatively small price, you can see a LOT of London plus you get a nice ride in the sky.

Go to China town it is great fun and there a loads of restaurants to choose from. It's not too far from Covent garden which has a craft market with street traders, pavement cafes and street performers. Round the corner is The Strand and Leicester square isn't too far away. I love London and I envy you, you lucky thing!

The 02 Arena is good, there are lots of restaurants, a cinema.
Harrods is a good shop to visit, a bit expensive, but browsing is fun.

Greenwich is a good place to visit. while there you can go to the Naval museum and the observatory. Best of all both of these places are free to enter (a rarity for London)

Take the tube, get off at Westminster tube station. Walk along River Thames, you can see the Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, London Eye(take a ride if you want to, or just click pictures from the ground).. Visit 10 Downing Street and Trafalgar Square. All these places are within walking distance of each other, should take you less than half a day to cover these.

If you want to see the Prime Meridien, go to Greenwich. It is a mere line on the ground, but there is a small green hill on top which u need to climb to vist. Makes for good pictures. Also, there is a maritime museum there with free entry.

At Hyde Park, on Sunday morning, visit the Speakers' corner. Apparently lots of people go there to speak about issues they think are imprtant. You can talk too. I've never been there as I can't be bothered to wake up early monring on a Sunday!

Madam Tussauds, wax museum is nice too. Will take half a day. Buy ticket online to save time.

For a day trip, go to Oxford (not much to do). Windsor Castle is about an hour's drive and very pretty too. It is a very pretty town. Take a boat ride on the lake too. Or spend the day at Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare's birthplace. Very green and beautiful. There r 5 houses in all of Shakespear's family. Very impressive.

This is all I can thino of right now.

hi there..!
mmm i think that the nice places in london are so many!
for example i think that parks are fantastics.
another place could be the london eye especially by night.
then covent garden, and also some museums(for ex. science)

bye! and have a good holidays

Depending on what day of the week it is, I would say best place to eat is Borough Market. If you are then over that way, you could walk up to the Tate Modern, cross the Millenium bridge and visit St. Paul's. From here, you could then do a London Walk, which will show you a more historic, non-touristy side of London. If you still had time, Tower of London is always a good visit, but you need to leave a couple of hours for that.

I assume you're going in to King Cross/L'pool Street. Good to get a day pass for the tube.

Then I recommend going to -
1)Highgate tube, Hampstead tube, looking at Highgate, Archway Road, Highgate Village, Highgate woods etc, Hampstead and the heath.

Then go to-
2)Russell Square and check out Bloomsbury, then Holborn, check out Holborn and down by the river, Charing Cross and The Strand. Perhaps nip over Westminister bridge if you can get there. And walk by The Thames near parliament.

I wouldn't personally bother with Piccadilly/Covent Garden/Oxford Street, they are quintessentially London but a little too packed and touristy. But I mention them to let you know that many tourists like them. Camden Town and Camden Locks I mention for similar reasons- is also quite an area and a draw for people, but again, not my fav, a little too congested and sardine like for me. You might also, for something slightly alternative, want to check out -

3)London Fields in Hackney. That's a cool, unique area, also Dalston is kind of cool and not as bad as people make out.

I went to see the palace, and I stayed there for ages because the guards were marching and a band was playing. I went to the O2 arena, because there is a big ice rink, lots of food places, a cinema, etc. I saw Parliament, the london eye, went on a boat ride on the Thames. I went to the museums, there are two but I have forgotten what they are called. I went to Covent gardens, and saw a show at the theatre.
