Too costly to live with, so that its citizen are also getting out and landing a job abroad. |

Used to be a good place to live with common sense prevailing over all.
Now it is strangled by cowardly p.c lefties who take great pleasure of trying to eradicate all that is good about Britain. |

if youre white and were born here, its restrictive and going downhill in a hurry, but if you're not white, and werent born here, and have never paid any tax or Ni, well then its paradise... |

a beautiful country with lots of green countryside......
other than that, a horrid scary place to live, overrun with child and teenage yobs forcing everyone to stay in their homes running the risk of being attacked, stabbed, murdered, abused etc |

too many foreigners waltzing in and claiming benefits, not integrating and burdening our national health system and pushing up the crime rate. All this is rapidly changing england and ruining the country's identity. |

Its a country that cares more about its non-working illegal immigrants than it hard working classes. |

England is beautiful, full of history and helpful and polite people. I come from England and after living in Florida for 2 years I am going back for good next month. All the people that live 9in England and slag it off would soon change their minds if they lived away from it for a while. You can always find someone who is willing to help in England. Compared to the medical costs in the US , the NHS alone should make people grateful for living in England. In America people become homeless and poor if they become ill because the medical costs are so high. |

I have lived in England for awhile and found the
country to be very beautiful. I love the history
and all of the castles. The people are very polite
and friendly. It is a great country. |

Having read some of the comments on this question, I'd like to add that one of the best things about Britain is its multiculturalism. As a white, middle class person who has lived in other countries in Europe, I value the fact that Britain is made up of people who look, think and act differently to me. It's only when you live abroad that you realise this variety is rare, and without it, the world a more boring place.
For all those who are sucked in by tabloid stories of 'sponging immigrants', have you ever thought about how much money the papers make by stirring up 'juicy' "pc nonsense" stories? |

England was beautifully and still can be if we get off are back sides stand up for what we believe in and get back to being British, not saying all that come here are no good............ but enough we are being robbed left right and center our young folk have to pay for uni , there is no housing, jobs are scarce the NHS is over run with people who haven't paid into it.................enough said. |

I live and study in London, England.
I love it here.
Despite the bad weather there is a good quality of life, and public transport, public health etc is of good quality and is better than what I'm accustomed to back in Africa. |

We are a mongrel race, and at the moment from what I am seeing on the news the way things are going, it is going to get worse soon if we are not careful. Some Muslims seem to want to provoke arguments (I am referring to the young woman recently employed by a C of E school, went for the interview without the veil and now wants to wear it).
We should remember that although this is a multi cultural society, we still have a monarchy that reigns as head of OUR church. This woman knew it. Ditch the veil or go work in a school for Muslims! BA has decided crucifix's are a no no, which has provoked more annoyance.
Religion seems to be taking over, even if you are not religious and I am sick off it. If we are not careful, there will be trouble in this country because of it's nanny state, who seems more interested in pleasing everyone but it's own, which is resulting in a lot of unhappy Brits.
And top of it all is this desire for one lot to annoy the other lot ( back to the school again!)
Enough already! Live and let live!! |

I love England. However, I wish the weather could be better! I am in the North and it is grim (in winter) |

I have a book by an American guy named Bill Bryson. He is a travel writer who made his home in England for many years and describes it as "unutterably beautiful."
Whenever I return from a trip abroad the drive back from the airport through the green county-side feels like a drive in the park.
There is lots that is wonderful in England (and the rest of the UK) although I admit that the weather could be better at times (but each season has its charm).
I think that our moral standards have slipped during my life-time (not due to me I hope!) and that we have social problems to tackle due to immigration and family break-down. But overall I am delighted to live where I do! |

People who are not happy here can still try to go somewhere else -and compare- they will very quickly regret the old good England.... |
