Take a boat close from north side at Westminster Bridge up the Thames to Greenwich get off where the Cutty Sark is, close by are several cheap noodle bars. Camden Market is well worth a look. London Zoo in Regents Park.
When you go to the Science and Natural History Museum you could walk north up Exhibition Road into Hyde Park to see the Dianna Memorial if that's your thing, a one street detour along the way would show you the Albert Hall and walk south down Exhibition Road across the Cromwell Road and almost immediately on your left is a little adequate and cheap chinese sit-down bar.
The yellow duck tour is probably worthwhile, they use renovated second world war amphibious vehicles painted bright yellow to do a short tour through London and a little on the Thames. The London Eye south side of the Thames between London and Waterloo bridges.
Get on the underground and go to Kew Gardens. |

Good ideas from the above posting. It depends on what your interests are. Id take someone to the Palace, Tower of London, boat ride along the Thames. Visit the markets such as Kings Road, Portobello Road, Petticoat Lane (Liverpool Street Market) Window shopping down Oxford street and Regent Street. China Town. Go to see a show in the West End (tickets can be bought at the Haymsarket in Picadilly Circus (not from single touts, only from Ticket booths) you can search www.lonelyplanet.com for other guidance. |

There's a great Italian restaurant (can't think of the name!) down the street from Queensway Tube station. It's on the same side of the street as the station. Definitely walk around that area for some cute shops and restaurants.
Check out the street market near Liverpool station. Good deals and some cool unusual stuff too. |

There are plenty of nice restaurants, it depends what food you like. Those at Butler's Wharf are plentiful and different. Or Mezzo in Soho, which stands on the site of the old Marquee club. |

There's a chinese place across the road from King's Cross station. It's very cheap and very good.
The science museum and the natural history museum are very good, and also free. The national gallery on trafalgar square is good for a laugh/
Why not visit Brian Haw's peace protest in Parliament Square, He has been there since 2001, and the mother of parliaments has passed legislation specifically to shut him up and move him on... and failed.
When you've seen the real thing, try the reconstruction in the Tate Modern gallery. |
