I think what confuses people here is that the UK isn't the full name. The full name is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. When I was young, and first learning about all this, I use to get so confused. So, Great Britain consists of England, Scotland and Wales. And then there is Ireland, but only the North. |
