im from the north..yay..GO NORTH..and i dont think there is anything wrong with the south. But, some of the politicians seem to look on the north as less civilised and a failure. |

Most my family is from London but my Grandpa comes from the North but they all now live down south. I guess everyone seems much more friendly but not as good weather, cheaper housing, more chavs, etc I have been up north a few times but I could never live up north I love London to much! |

People will tell you that there's a north/south divide, but having lived in both I can tell you that it's rubbish.
In some people's minds there might be a divide, but the reality is that for most, any divide there might have once been is there no longer. People move about too much now for there to be a difference.
Anyone who thinks there is still a divide has probably never been to the other part of the country. |
