im south and i take people as i find them. where they live has nothing at all to do with it.

im from the north..yay..GO NORTH..and i dont think there is anything wrong with the south. But, some of the politicians seem to look on the north as less civilised and a failure.

I have always lived in Dorset and every time I Visit the north I find the people the most lovely and friendly people in England

allen555
Dorset boy living in Scotland. Don't care where they come from as long as they treat people well.

Most my family is from London but my Grandpa comes from the North but they all now live down south. I guess everyone seems much more friendly but not as good weather, cheaper housing, more chavs, etc I have been up north a few times but I could never live up north I love London to much!

People will tell you that there's a north/south divide, but having lived in both I can tell you that it's rubbish.

In some people's minds there might be a divide, but the reality is that for most, any divide there might have once been is there no longer. People move about too much now for there to be a difference.

Anyone who thinks there is still a divide has probably never been to the other part of the country.
