They are the most polite people I have ever met. I went there on my honeymoon and everyone there was very proper and respectful. Even the homeless man I got into an argument with was nice. |

Being generous and leaving the past aside:
They are taking part in a greed driven illegal war. England has never listened to the voice of the working people, the backbone of the country.
It is in essence, a very beautiful country filled (mostly!) with wonderful (mostly!) honest people, unfortunately run by an arisrocratically minded echelon with no regard for the future of national or global affairs.

Other than that I worked with an Englishwoman who liked to put me down - I hate that accent now. Come to find out there are quite a few limeys in this town...just can't stand the accent. |
