well...the north east of the UK would be Scotland, and around Peterhead, Aberdeen & Stonehaven if I'm correct and understanding your question.
What do I think of it...I love it, miss it, and can't wait to go back and visit there next year. I lived in Aberdeen for 14 months. |

Love to visit - wouldn't like to live there. Shame about the football teams ! Great for birding. Love Bamburgh and
the Farne Islands. |

If you mean Newcastle, it get's my vote for sure. Moved here over 10 years ago from Manchester - far better in just about every aspect. |

i think its great. i visit there about once every 3 months (family up there). its pretty cheap & has everything you could want from an area of the UK:
good nightlife/restaurants/bars (newcastle)
beautiful scenery
historic towns (durham)
coast |

Windy. That's my experience of the North East anyway! I've been to Whitby, Scarborough, Annack, Durham, Newcastle and Gateshead... seems very similar to the North West (which is where I'm from) just windier. |

North East of England? |

I think it's somewhere between the north and the east.
(little more detail please?)
As someone else has said "Pretty cheap" |

I second the motion. All in favor, say, "Aye!"
