Glasgow is a fantastic City. It is the second largest shopping centre in the UK, as well as having great pubs, clubs, restaurants, parks and museums. Not forgetting the wonderful folk who live here too! |

I love Glasgow and its people .. I like the way people chat to you and help you..
I was lost near Duncannon street bus station (have i got the name wrong .. ???) once and an old lady who could hardly walk insisted on taking me to where the bus station was.. never forget it..bless her..
Had loads of friends up there who have now moved out of town to Ayr and Troon..
Its a bit wet and cold sometimes if your thinking of going to Uni there but it is a great city..
the west end district is a nice area.. |

THE Number 1 Scottish City.
Brilliant people, Fab city, something for all age groups, culture, arts, street stuff, edgy, vibey, changing, work hard/play hard, loads of colleges/unis, mixed city country parks, great atmosphere.
All cities have their rough bits Glasgows no different, I've been to New York its the same there.... |

I love Glasgow, I don't really find it rough since I grew up in New York. Edinburgh is prettier, but the people in Glasgow can't be beat in my opinion. |

It has its pro and cons just like every city in the world.
Glasgow has a huge crime rate and it's called the Murder Capital of Western Europe. There is a lot of gang crime and the gov is tackling it with a method that was used in Boston. Hope it's gonna be as successful as it was over there. Some parts of the city stink as well cos there is a waste problem, ppl throw their trash on the streets instead of throwing it in the trash cans and a lot of dog walkers don't pick up their dogs crap.
Glasgow is a great city to study, it has a lot of unis n colleges, most of the ppl are really nice and helpful, you can see people on bus stops talkin to each other even if they don't know each other but they are just being polite and like to make friendships no matter what color or religion you have, racism isn't a big issue here as it is in some other parts of the country. |
