I haven't met one I didn't like. In fact, I'm madly in love with one and picking up my whole life here in the US to be with him in January! We've been together for almost 2 years. He and his family are the nicest people I know.

Their accents and general sense of decency in relating to other people is what sets them apart as truly special.

oh kate!
The folks I've met from England have all been lovely. Some more than others...

Actually, back in the day, I was packpacking thru Europe. My last stop was England. I met some really nice people on the train from Holyhead to London, and they let me stay overnight at their house.

I also met some other intriguing people there, but this is neither the time nor place for those stories ;-D

I love the English. I was in London last summer and found them to be friendly and helpful. Some are outspoken, but they are very engaging.

the british- well the stereotypes are that they're snobby and only take interest in themselves..Personally, I've only met one British person and he was in a punk rock band. they also have that punk rock style i think.
