I think people are silly when they complain about the UK...

One of the most common complaints is that we have a rubbish government, and they're raising taxes etc...

But they voted them in!!!

We're so lucky in many ways!

We have free health care, a good quality of life, amazing facilities, good schools, freedom that many countries that don't have...

I think people don't appreciate what they've got. I'm proud to be British, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else...

Free health care, we dont know how lucky we are having that imo.. we can grab a cheap flight to europe, paris, prague etc at a mins notice, americans would die for that, freedom of speech, loads more. Dont like the weather but who cares when you can grab a cheap hiliday.

I love the way we always have cups of tea, talk about weather, and are polite :)
Also you can never be too far from sea, in which I love to swim, sail and kayak, despite how freezing it is.
I love living here.

I absolutely agree with squeakycheek. I live in Scotland and everything is just wrong. I don't like it here and I wanna go Ireland. I have no idea if anything will be different but I really really hope. Oh, and the friendly thing? I don't know about England, Wales and Northern Ireland, but in Scotland I didn't find many friendly or polite people.
