The long hours of twilight June/July, when (if the weather is fine!) you can sit out in the garden till 10.45 p.m. with a nice long drink, and don't need to have lights on to pour a refill!!
Or being able to sit on the blunt end of a canal boat till late evening, listening to the crickets chirping on the bank, totally relaxed and going nowhere fast.

The rain. It's better than the drunken scouse coach trips to Blackpool and wasps, anyway.
