What I like about London is that it is the best destination spot I have ever been to. Shopping at Harrods, visiting the Tower of London, seeing London Bridge, and touring Buckingham Palace and the Parliament building is a must life time experience. Imagine relive the glory days of the vast expanse of the British Empire, while enjoying the animals native to those regions at the London Zoo. Spend a day strolling through the British Museum and marveling at some of its 6 million exhibited items; tour Westminster Abbey, and the Royal parks and gardens. I wish I can go London again.

The only thing I least like about London could be its traffic and a bit of pollution. Overall, I still think London is a good place.

Amazingwoo
Love.
London is so diverse, has some of the most amazing restaurants and food of practically every nationality.
The hustle and bustle of Oxford Street.
The amazing food markets.

Hate.
The way the whole Underground grinds to a halt if we have too much sun, too many fallen leaves, too much rain, too much wind, too much snow.
Some people are very rude.

Like the never ending variety of places and people to see. There's always a show, a restaurant or a bar you've never been to. I hate the prices, slow service and rude commuters.

Suprises
You're never short of somewhere interesting to go, I love Camden Market personally but Covent Garden is a close second. I hate how much it costs to get around though. And the pollution isn't a great factor! Love the street performers.

What I like most: museums, art galleries, parks, restaurants.
What I like least: the people - mostly aggressive, apathetic
and suspiscious

I love London because my family and friends are there and I miss them. I least like London because of the traffic and pollution. And the Piccadilly Line in Rush Hour **Shudder** bad memories of that!

I love London's wonderful history.
The worst thing about London is the filth.

vonibee
spent a lot of time there up till the 90's and loved it ...
but by the 90's it was getting a real bad place to live more and more murders, more pollution so hated it and moved out

I don't like london as it is noisy, dirty and too crowded.
Sorry.
P.S. The people aren't very friendly either.

My answer is the same for both parts of your question!

a) I like the fact that London is 125 miles away from me.

b) I least like the fact that it is so close: 125 miles!

The old quotation, 'When one is tired of London, one is tired of Life' applies only to those of limited horizons. The people are ... are ... just so non-provincial!

The best thing about London is that it is 300 miles away, I dislike London for its dirt, pollution, crime, high prices, traffic jams, high house prices, horrible beer, snotty people, the list goes on and on.
