I love the new breed of idiot who blocks all the exit gates at a tube station with their defective Oyster card. I love backpackers on the Victoria line who obliviously assault you with their rucksacks during rush hour. But most of all I enjoy joining the queue of "lurkers" waiting for the congestion charge zone to close at 18:00. |

When I lived there - being only a few minutes' tube ride away from anything and everything. Now I'm in the sticks, and everything has to be driven to... |

I love the range of things to do. I have only recently discovered the Time Out website and other website guides to What's On and am constantly cheered by the array of bizarre and wonderful things going on, even if I can't always go. This weekend: A masked Venetian ball, a canalboat cavalcade and traditional mayday celebrations and crafts. They might not be your cup of tea but you can guarantee that there was something else on in London somewhere that is. |

I love walking past modern buildings, but when you look down a side street there could be a really old building tucked down there that you catch a glimpse of. I like shopping in Chelsea and High Street Ken. and I love going to the theatre. |

I love the walk from London bridge to westminster bridge. There are so many interesting things to see and great to people watch. If its a really nice day then i start at westminster and get the clipper taxi boat up to london bridge. Always like to stop at the tate modern, and canarie walf for some lunch. Some great pubs along the way to make it into a pub crawl |

when i lived there as a young child i loved the museums. my mum used to take my brother and i around them and we would be fascinated all day. now as a 16 yr old i love the shops, especially oxford street. because the shops are so big they stock everything. the people are great as well...they seem to make more of an effort (i think that's a city thing) and there is so much individuality. it's great to be able to walk down the street and see people from so many different cultures in one place. the men are gorgeous too. in a few years when i'm at uni i'm sure i'll love the nightlife. |

The diversity I suppose, you can experience so much in one day. |

the diversity. The range of cultures which merge together to make a unique London culture, lack of chavs, theatre, and the great markets. |

Borough Market is brilliant.
i love the diversity of the foods sold there, and the fact you are able to touch the produce, and try before you buy.
The olive oil from there is the best, and also, the fab pork, stuffing and apple sauce you can get by the entrance to the two markets, are to die for..
My hubby and me would also buy a baguette and some tomatoes, and also some stilton, and find somewhere to sit, by southwark cathederal, or the river... its fab..
I LOVE LONDON.. |

The fact that everything and anything you could ever want is only a walk or tube ride away. |

The crime, the filth, the smell, the overcrowding, the endless traffic, no parking, overpriced housing, overpriced everything else....luckily I don't live there thanks.... |
