There is no such thing (yet) as a UK identity card. We only have a passport at present. The ID card will be rolled out to asylum seekers first - but not until the end of next year at the very earliest.
If you are not British and/or have no right to be in the UK, then you have to use your own country's passport as identity. |

We do have I.D.cards already,and in January'08' they become compulsory for children above the age of 11 years. they are NOW known as OYSTER travel cards.
stealth I.D. cards.full of all your details. WHEN you travel,TIME and PLACE of travel departure,AMOUNT of travel. NAME, D.O.B.ADDRESS,etc,etc,etc,
I.D by another name!!!
