Toronto...oh sorry, that's not the u.k. however, i am thinking of starting my own "little toronto" right here in the u.k.!!!!.......anyone want to buy some property? we'll invite the blue jays over, drink some good old STRONG Canadian beer, the list goes on! you can move around without having everyone and their mother knowing your business and passing comment on it....people will even smile at you!
you also won't have to worry about 14 year old girls puking all over your car, then kicking the crap out of you on a friday night due to binge drinking.
Home Sweet Home!

i promise!!!!

London! I was born there.
I now live in a little village in the back of beyond. Closest shop - 4 miles. It's lovely - but restrictive if you need a pint of milk!
Took my husband to Fulham and he couldn't believe how much greenery there was - and also the fact that we walked for miles, when here, we would get in the car for a much shorter distance.
So much history all over the place - and I took him to the church just off Putney Bridge where poor old Doctor Who got the lightning rod in the film 'The Omen.'
I suppose it depends on what your interests are.

I would love to answer this, but I have not been to every single one!

I do like Manchester and Newcastle - probably because I'm a Northener!

I have lived in loads of different locations in The UK and Edinburgh wins hands down, it's a small city, so vibrant, with endles places to visit. There is so much to do there, it's truly amazing. 10/10.

Brighton and Hove. Its such an open and varied city. How many cities combine the sea, areas of outstanding natural beauty and the city itself? There are so many open parks around, which in the last city i lived (chelmsford) would have been made into housing estates years ago.

The music scene is great, there is somewhere for all tastes and so many venues (small and not so small) for bands to get started and maybe get recognised eg The Kooks, Johnny Truant, and i suspect Keane given that theyre from not too far away.

The place in general is so much more relaxed than in Chelmsford. And the shopping is great, so many big shops, its like having london by the sea with fewer people! Plus where else openly accepts homos? They have bars and clubs just like heteros. They are also doing alot to help the environment, being big on recycling, really encouraging people to use the bus, getting the bus to town quicker than the car with bus lanes and priority at traffic lights etc. Apparently the average time searching for a car parking space was 20mins. Thats just looking for a space not getting into city centre aswell. Well you can get from virtually anywhere in the city in 20mins or maybe slightly more. Plus its cheaper. Its little things like this that appeal to people to motivate them to use the bus instead of their cars. Not to mention the piers, the marina, the links to London etc

I guess that depends where you live. We all think our own city is the best.

Well it must be the City of London because it is the centre of finance for the whole country
