It's gorgeous, really chilled and beautiful. You coudl try the Roman Baths, there is also a Spa there now where you can bathe in the warm naturally occurring spa waters on the roof of a spa centre. Very sophisticated place, great shopping, architecture, fab weekend destination, Go for it !!!

A very interesting historic town with wonderful roman bathing pool still intact and filled.- ante rooms etc which you can walk round and see, you can also taste the waters which are bitter and not particularly pleasant in the pump room where the victorians used to taste the water. Howevr this genuine attration is horrificly overpriced and there are queues to see it. The whole pretty town is overrun with tourists.

Its very nice I stayed in a posh hotel for two nights.
Refused to pay 25 pound per head for breakfast, so we headed down the road to a nice little cafe and got two breakfast for under 15 pounds.

Its ok. Lots of Roman history. Near to Bristol too. Nice place to live.
Me? I live in Devon.

One of the most beautiful towns in England for architecture.
You can travel there from London Paddington by First Great Western Trains. Services run every 30 minutes and take 1 hour 20 minutes
