I have lived in Brum for 20 years, my wife is a born and bred Brummie.
I love the city. Its a very relaxed, mixed city. Its also a hell of a lot friendlier than London. like all cities there are rough areas, but on the whole I find living here is fine. |

like all city's it has its good point's and bad but its is a changing town well worth the visit, broad st, waterways NIA, sea world, jewelry quarter come on visit the city, night life is excellent, lot more places to go to. get a tourist leaflet from your tourist office.even ex president CLINTON stayed and visited some of the above places so it was good for him it should be good for you . the black country museum is a good day out for days gone-by in dudley where they have a strong accent ,also worth a visit...... WELCOME TO BIRMINGHAM |

Please go to the library, or use the internet Wikepedia, to source your information on this wonderful city.
There simply is not enough space on your hard disc, for all the information you need |

I'm from birmingham.
It has its up & downs like any place in the world. people who are moaning about brum are pathetic. there are a lot more worse places in the world than here babes |

I've never ever been. I have some inlaws there, they say its a bit rough, even when they're in someone just walks into the kitchen and take the toaster and things like that. Another one said its got a nice shopping centre. Thats all I've heard really. I've been to the train station there its as big as my town, and I hate the accent. |

my boyfriends from birmingham and when he took me there I loved the main city because of the tourist places but when I went to his home town, HA full of 50 cent wannabes |

I love the people- generally very relaxed and friendly. I lived there for 34 years, there is a bit of a regional sense of humour; my father used to call it "weapons grade sarcasm". There is loads to do and it is much friendlier than London. There is a bit of a trend to knock Birmingham and laugh at the accent; I encouraged this when I lived there as it kept visitors with a low I.Q out of the area. |

City centre attractions are good, and its kept reasonably clean.... unlike the suburbs, the council don't care about them its only the Centre they keep tidy for the tourists .... ...there are a lot of worse regional accents...imo |

Like most Cities of the World, there are good/bad places & good/bad people,
Birmingham is in England though, the UK is not a Country but a Union of England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland altogether, |

All I can say is that I cannot stand the place and dislike the accent. I hope I never have to go there again! If I were you I'd write about an interesting place. |
