I think it's a great place with wonderful people and wonderful scenery. I've yet to see a welsh person go out of their way to insult anyone simply because they are from another country. I willl admit i have seen welsh people say things, but only when they are insulted first. And anyway, all the people who do say things about the english/welsh are a very small minority.

The Welsh are lovely, I'm married to one so I should know!

Danru
I think they have funny accents, but they are really friendly.

Wales, ok but the people can be racist towards the English. Everyone was talking away fine, then in we came and spoke English with a British accent and everyone started to talk Welsh and refused to acknowledge us.
That was in rural Wales. Cardiff and places will probably be different.

I don't know any Welsh people personally but I've always wanted to go to Wales as I've heard it's beautiful in some places and that the people are really friendly.

On a different note - I think Katya-Zelen should re-read her answer.

Pot. Kettle. Black?

I love the accent, but to be honest I don't know any welsh people, and I haven't been to Wales since I was 5 so I can't really remember much.

Well I'm welsh but half English on my mum's side. Lots to see in wales like coal miner/ lakes/ mountain to climb. Lot of welsh speak English and fluent in welsh aswell ( North wales), south part in English speak. Of course see the rugby in Cardiff for the home games ( 6 nations) that best part to see. Its many more to see things in wales, I live in wales all my life. Come and see yourself enjoy the wales life in Country.

ignorant and racist against the english...i shud know i go to a welsh school and im english

swti97
For the girl that goes to the welsh School, why dont you join in with the welsh pupils then you would not sound so bitter, If you live in Wales you should be speaking Welsh as when a welsh person visites England they got to speak the language . Wales is very very friendly, the people are so kind always helpful, the only thing that pisses them off is when the English try to take over

The BudMiester
They`re a bit baaaaaaamy boyo!
