No better than many, no worse than most ! I have a Scouse (Liverpool) accent -my daughter's partner has Manchester accent - we get along just fine !
Southerners don't appear to be too fond of 'Northern' accents in general - can't think why ! |

Apart from the writing on Coronation Street that bores the **** of me, I can't stand the awful accents, especially Janice Batterby. It always reminds me of someone who has got off the special needs bus and promised a cream cake. That inane excitable squeal. Ugh! |
