Why do you care exactly?

As far as I know we 'farm' pigs, cows, sheep for the meat market.

Other than that cabbages, peas, tomatoes, lettuce and the whole range of basic veg.

Lots of things. Beef, Lamb, Pork, Chicken, Ducks, Turkeys, Goose, all different types of fruit + vegetables (i.e. potatoes, onions, leeks, cabbage, carrots, squash, kale, courgettes, mushrooms....apples, rhubarb, pears, plums, strawberries, raspberries....), cereals, oil seed rape. Plus I am sure some other stuff I haven't thought of.

What England makes: Beer, cheese, pies, bread, cakes plus again lots of other things.

I can only tell you about the area I know about.

The Suffolk area is traditionally a wheat and beet area, though we tend to grow alot of rape now.

Barley is getting popular too. It is a feed crop for many animals, and the current selling price is quite high.

Untill recently, Suffolk was also good for pigs. Unfortunately, with the high barley prices many pig farmers have gone under.

Sorry,
- Beet is sugarbeet, the stuff sugar is made of, most of Britains sugar comes from Suffolk.
- Rape is used to make "vegetable oil." If you look on the back of almost all brands, you will see they are roughly 95% rapeseed oil.
